If a Tesla doesn’t have a vanity license plate with some smug statement about how the car is different from all the others... is it really a Tesla?

I’ve said this countless times already, but they fact that every Tesla has a vanity plate just adds to the soul sucking homogeneity of these cars. They’re so dispiritingly bland and indistinguishable from one another that even their owners personalize them in the same bland indistinguishable way. When I see a Tesla with a customized plate, I get the same feeling as going to a K-Mart, life suddenly seems joyless and empty and devoid of any purpose.
